11 year old + pistol= 700 lbs of sausage
Yes, it’s amazing what an 11 year old in Alabama can do with a .50 caliber (!!) pistol. According to an Associated Press article, Jamison Stone of Pickensville AL killed a pig weighing in at nearly 1060 lbs. and measuring 9′ 4″ in length. When asked about his accomplishment, the boy replied “It’s a good accomplishment. I probably won’t ever kill anything else that big.”
When I was a kid, I posed in the local paper in my town with a live turkey that had come to visit my nursery school. I was wearing some sort of “pilgrim” outfit, as was my friend who posed next to me. I thought that was a big deal at the time. What a disappointment to find out that kids like Jamison were already killing deer at that age! I guess I’m a late bloomer.

oh dear, from far away that kid looks like daniel….creepy. glad he would never kill an animal! I would kick his butt if he did.
btw, did you see the new bmw article? there’s a kitten hanging from a rope and the text says “hang in there”….I thought of you and Chad.

I didn’t even know pigs could get that big. Or is that kid just a really small 11 year old?

That kid is definitely Dan. I think he shot that pig out in Eden or Langford or someplace just outside of Buffalo.
I have not seen the BMW ad, but spent about a day of work looking for a vintage Hang In There Baby poster for my office.
