Hummingbird Escape
Monday, October 1st, 2007The hummingbird got out, thanks to the quick thinking of our office staff. Let me refresh Friday’s tragic events… the hummingbird had flown into the office, and was trying to escape through a skylight that doesn’t open. It kept beating it’s tiny head against the glass, and we all feared it would break it’s pointy little beak. Several large white tablecloths had been thrown over the top of the window but the bird wasn’t convinced… it continued its futile quest to break free. Finally, my coworker Staci and I put large pieces of opaque illustration board over the skylight from the upstairs walkway and within a minute, but bird flew straight out the front door! Disaster averted.
