Fuel oil spill in the San Francisco Bay
Yesterday, the San Francisco Chronicle was reporting this as a 140 gallon oil spill. Now, it has become obvious that it is much more serious as it has be revealed that about 57,000 gallons of bunker oil spilled into the bay. It’s also shocking that nobody tried to contain the spill until last night, after the oil had already been allowed to dissipate into the bay and on to the shore for hours.
