The aftermath of Death Storm ‘08: San Francisco recovers from a bout of “weather”

Castro & 19th St. I woke up to the pitter-patter of light rain on Friday. Not a good sign. It continued raining all day and the wind didn’t let up until at least 2pm. Somehow, I made it through. Friday evening, the destruction had spared few. Branches broke off trees and people got wet.

Small pine trees littered the streets of the city.

I spent Friday trying to keep the water flooding our porch from leaking under our door and straight over to where I have my work station power outlet.

I love that picture of you standing infront of the mercedes benz with the tree on it by the way. It has a lovely eyewitness weather reporter feel to it. Markasaurus is on the scene, keeping people informed!
